The J.E.C.P.J.-France Association brings together French municipalities, institutions and associations with the aim of promoting the value of Jewish heritage, whether real estate, movable or cultural. Its aim is purely cultural. It is therefore secular and open to all.
It is a member of the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Heritage and Culture and represents France.
It has a College of Mayors of France, whose President is statutorily Vice-President of J.E.C.P.J.-France.
It coordinates the European Days of Jewish Culture in France and is in charge of creating and managing the French part of the Cultural Route of Jewish Heritage, created under the aegis of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.
From 10:00 am to 12:30 pm: open doors on the occasion of the reopening of the synagogue, after completion of the exterior restoration phase (work having been carried out thanks to the partnership of the City of Guebwiller, the Fondation du Patrimoine and the Consistoire Israélite du Haut-Rhin).
At 10:30 am: presentation of the restoration project in its entirety, by Mr. Jean-Luc Isner, heritage architect.
Guided tour by Mr Bernard Antmann, President of the Association of Friends of the Guebwiller "shule".
