The Trail du Vieil Armand is a friendly natural sporting event held in Wuenheim, in the heart of the Haut-Rhin region, organized by Oxygène 68. Anchored in a landscape combining nature and memory, the Trail du Vieil Armand offers a number of routes along the trails of the Massif du Vieil Armand, a historic site marked by the fighting of the First World War, providing runners with an experience both demanding and full of character: forest passages, varied climbs and panoramic landscapes of Alsace.
The race day features three formats to suit all levels:
La Printanière, a shorter, more accessible course, ideal for beginners or for a nature outing.
The intermediate Trail Moyen, which combines effort and pleasure on a varied trail.
The Trail du Vieil Armand Long, more technical and demanding, with a significant vertical drop for experienced runners.
The starting point is close to the Cave Vinicole de Soultz-Wuenheim, and each trail is marked out with refreshment points to support participants throughout their effort.
Beyond the sporting performance, this race is also a moment of sharing and conviviality, where amateurs and regular runners meet in a dynamic atmosphere in the heart of the Alsatian trails.
