This Friday, July 18 in Guebwiller, three emblematic venues come alive with live music for a colorful summer evening!
Place de la Liberté, at 6.30pm, the trio Les Frelatés revives the great French chanson classics of the 50s and 60s with elegance, humor and complicity. A moment suspended between piano, saxophone and voice.
At 7:30pm, on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, the legendary Vagabonds bring French rockabilly to life. Their vintage energy and rock covers promise a wild, danceable show.
And on the Place Saint-Léger, from 6.30pm, the Brivan open stage will showcase local artists: singers, comedians, magicians... A real springboard for future talent.
On the Place de la Liberté, an open-air dance floor invites young and old to sway to the sound of a DJ or live band. Guinguette, disco or 80s... there's something for everyone.
A stone's throw away, the lower end of Rue de la République hosts the Marché des Créateurs, with a dozen stalls featuring regional artists and craftspeople. Jewelry, candles, soaps, objects made from recycled materials... not forgetting knitting and crochet initiation workshops under the big tent, offered by the Au fil des saisons association.
For gourmets, several foodtrucks will be present: Twist Cake for sweet and savoury Hungarian kurtos, Ti Chef for dishes from Reunion Island, L'Envol for Italian cuisine, Pascal Luc for tartes flambées, pizzas and paninis, and Brasserie d'Émile for organic craft beers.
Bars and restaurants in the city center welcome you on their terraces to prolong the festive atmosphere.
