Refuge du RoedelenOur association has a refuge at the foot of the Grand Ballon, the highest point in the Vosges.
Our chalet is open every other weekend in winter, between bookings, and every weekend in summer.
It's ideally located, close to the GR 532 and the Route des Crêtes.
It can be reached in summer from Guebwiller, on foot or by bike, via a number of itineraries, and in winter from the Markstein ski resort, some 6 km away, via a groomed track for classic cross-country skiing, skating and snowshoeing.
Our refuge is ideally situated for a three-day tour of the Guebwiller valley, via Petit-Ballon and Grand-Ballon.
Our chalet is equipped with a living room and a dormitory with a capacity of 30 beds, as well as a self-service kitchen and sanitary facilities (toilets, showers, etc.).
