This Friday, July 25, Guebwiller will once again be vibrating to the rhythm of afterworks, with an eclectic and festive program all over the town center.
On Place de la Liberté, duo Fancy Dolcy get the ball rolling at 6:30 p.m. with their retro-tinged electro-pop, a blend of softness and raw energy. At 7.30pm, DJ Enzo & Nicolas take over for an inter-generational set featuring hits from the 80s and today, in a convivial, danceable atmosphere.
Also at 7.30pm, on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, Dr Boost turns up the heat with powerful covers of French and international rock classics. Driven by an infectious stage energy, the band promises a concert that lives up to its reputation.
Place Saint-Léger, from 6.30pm, the Brivan open stage welcomes a new selection of local artists. Five talented singers, comedians and performers take to the stage under the watchful eye of hosts Brice and Yvan.
On Place de la Liberté, a dance floor awaits you to prolong the evening in rhythm: guinguette, disco, vintage... to each his own tempo under the stars.
At the bottom of rue de la République, the creators' market brings together a dozen or so regional craftsmen and artists: jewelry, candles, recycled objects, soaps... Take advantage of the knitting and crochet initiation workshops under the big tent, offered by the Au Fil des Saisons association.
And to tantalize the taste buds, several foodtrucks will be on hand all evening:
- Le Petit Goûter: sweet treats, crêpes, cupcakes, Italian-style ice cream
- Tarte flambée - Pascal Luc: tarts flambées, pizzas, paninis
- Brasserie d'Émile: organic craft beers under an arbour
- K.Box: 100% Alsatian home-made knepfles
- Pablo Tomas Artisan: gourmet hot dogs and milkshakes
Bars and restaurants in the town center also welcome you to their terraces to enjoy the summer in style.
