    Departure from the parking of the village hall of Wuenheim (to the church side). Turn left (rue St Gilles) then right (rue du Tir). Then the route follows the vines to reach the monument of Rote Rain. Cross the road to take the way of the cross to the Basilica of Thierenbach. Go past the entrance of the church and then take the path towards the village. Before the panel "Jungholtz", turn right and cross the moat of the ancient castle of Jungholtz along the Jewish cemetery (one of the largest in Alsace, with very ancient tombs). Continue towards the park storks by the bike way. Back to Wuenheim in the rue de la Fonderie.
