Concert : IspolinAccording to the legend, the Ispolin were giants who populated Bulgaria before the first men. Thanks to their powerful voice, they conversed and sang songs from one mountain to another. They would have inspired the whole history of singing in Bulgaria. Today, far from these primitive mountains, Diane Bucciali, Christine Clément and Camille Mandleur, the miniature members of the Ispolin trio, breathe contemporary air into century-old songs. Here, tradition and the impulse to create are intertwined for a poignant and resolutely contemporary polyphonic odyssey.
