The "Voix et Route Romane" festival, created on the initiative of the Alsace Region, offers an astonishing journey through the music of the Middle Ages at the end of the summer. It takes place throughout Alsace, organising medieval music concerts in the most beautiful sites along the Romanesque Route. Voix et Route Romane contributes to the attractiveness of Alsace by spreading its action not only in medium-sized towns, but also in rural areas, combining built heritage and live performance, tourism and culture.
The event, which will celebrate its 30th edition in 2022, is the last French event exclusively dedicated to medieval music.
