Rimbach-Zell

DESCRIPTIF

The village of Rimbach-Zell is located on a mountainside surrounded by forests, providing a picturesque backdrop, at just a few kilometres from Soultz (5km) and Guebwiller (8km).
At only two kilometres from the village, the departure point for numerous hiking and MTB trails provides many circuits adapted to all levels that can take you all the way to the Grand Ballon, the highest summit in the Vosges mountains (1424 metres).
The old houses are typical to the valley: built on a steep hillside, they have two ground levels with living quarters for people and rooms for agricultural and livestock activities under the same roof.
The Eglise Saint Pierre et Paul, built in the middle of the last century on the location of the old church dating from the XVth century, houses the remarkable organs built by Joseph Callinet in 1852.
